With the mode of quality liberal education for undergraduates and professional ethics to post graduate; Nalanda College works to bring complete intellectual, cultural, social and economic qualities of urban life in order to support students from different income groups of the society.
Nalanda College mission is to support various faculties with detail modules while fulfilling the different needs of the students. The Nalanda aims to bring the best technology and introduce the world class study infrastructure for the students to meet their education plans and aims.

The primary purpose of Nalanda College is to provide a learning environment in which faculty, staff and students can discover, examine critically, preserve and transmit the knowledge, wisdom and values that will ensure the survival of future generations and improve the quality of life for all. The Nalanda seeks to help students to develop an understanding and appreciation for the complex cultural and physical worlds in which they live and to realize their highest potential of intellectual, physical and human development.
Appreciating the needs and the visualizing ambitions of youth of the state and as an effort to making them true, recognizing the role of non-profit making Non Government Organizations (Trust/Companies/Societies) imparting quality high school, Intermediate and higher education and medical course in the country, the Government of Uttar Pradesh, in order to facilitate the student of the state, enacted an Act for establishment and incorporation of self financed college of uttar Pradesh for imparting higher education, and to regulate their functions and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

• To take all such steps as it considers necessary for determination and maintenance of standards of teaching, examination and research in the College.
• To ensure that the teachers of the private university have at least the minimum educational qualifications prescribed by the University Grants Commission or other regulatory bodies.
• To ensure that the staff of the private university is appointed in conformity with the Statutes, Ordinances and norms or guidelines prescribed by the University Grants Commission and other concerned statutory bodies.
• To ensure that students enrolled in the private university are not exploited and no unethical means or adopted to collect undue or excessive fee from them.
